Meng and Takom are like two siblings trying to one-up eachother, one of them announces something, and you can be sure soon after the other will announce the same thing; Na uh! Mine's better! (No objection here, I love panthers. )

That almost can't be true, they must have both already been at work, just a bad coincidence (for them).

Ofcourse Meng is releasing a Panther A as well. Who would be really surprised about that. Well, the more the merrier, let's see which one will be the most accurate.

Although I have no burning passion for another Panther, I love the Meng kits and would likely purchase this one.

I believe that Bovington has a Panther G, but Saumur has at least one Panther A, if not more

If the Meng comes with a complete interior I'm in. Otherwise what's the point as Dragon's beat to death every variant -except the Bergepanther I so desire! Okay Meng, here's your chance at fame: get us a Bergepather using this chassis!

Actually the Dragon kit dates to 2002 so by all rights we are about due a new mold of this Panther variant. After all the only Panther A in 1/35 are Tamiya (from the late 1960s) Italeri (1980s and what serious modeler builds Italeri?)

And Dragon's efforts from the dawn of the 21st Century. So we need new Panther A. Definitely NOT a D. Tamiya, Zvezda, ICM and Dragon all do excellent recent mold Panther D. Might as well do another King Tiger, oh wait that was last year when every company did new King Tigers for no apparent reason...

M3 Stuarts and Bergepanthers. And a DD Sherman thrown in for good measure.

NOT.

More likely a new line-up of Pzkpfw IV or some other Deutsche Panzer.

The point will be how they treat the tools on the tank. If we can have accurate tools and nice brackets without PE ! To Meng : I'm a collector of those things !

One thing about Takom they are not stuck in one era. They are all over the 20th century armor.
