I am currently building Takom's T-55AM2B and was wondering if the aireal on the box art was correct. If so does anyone make a nice brass aftermarket one if not what does the correct one look like and does anyone make an aftermarket one of those.

PS I am building the Czechoslovakian version which is probably a little different than the box art as that shows an East German version

TIA

Check out this build:

He used a Magic Models an his AM2B. I used one of theirs on my T-72B3 and they are well done.

You might get better response on the Russian/Soviet forum if you have more questions.

Hi Ronnie
here is a picture of a Czech AM2. The antenna base you can see looks typically Russian to me.

I don't think the radio sets were different in the various countries of the Warsaw Pact.
