@Jeff, Takom mkiv is a nice kit and goes together well but does require a little care and patience. I think I had one of the earlier versions of this model with the ludicrous 5 parts per link tracks, I believe that Takom now include the clip together single peice links with later ones. I bought these seperately as the ones with the kit were virtually impossible. The chains holding the unditching beam were a wee bit fiddly but achievable with strong drink and cigarrettes (other calming agents available).

Very nice builds Paul.Build,paint and weathering are well done.

The only thing that i would have done in addition,is to put a little bit graphite or metal pigments on the drive sprocket teeth and idler running surface because of the contact wear of the track.I have a very "soft" pencil for that (2B).

Aside of that,they´re great models.

Another small tip when using a pencil for the blank metal surface: When using it for a greater number of surfaces or even tracks,i take a piece of fine sanding paper and grind the pencil lead on it,so i get graphite powder and distribute it with just a fingertip.I did that on the sprockets on my 1/16th Luchs lately and it works quite well.A fingertip can adjust very well to surfaces and edges... Or you could use a sponge brush for that.
