What I did was after the undercoat on, I painted the wood in Tamiya dark sand, then colour the odd panel in deck tan and buff. once done. I then used a couple of burnt sienna(oil) washes and left it dry over night. I sprayed this with cheap hair spray. Then used the green OD to cover the area and soaked the area with water Then used and old stiff brush and rubbed the places were it would be worn the most

The type I picked is the dry powder type. These are filled to a pressure level which is far beyond what my compressor will ever produce. The second thing to look for is that the "lid", or whatever it's called, is made of metal (preferably brass) and can be unscrewed.
My plan is to use them in a vertical position with the "lid" downwards. Air inlet and outlet by air hose attachments screwed into the "lid" (drilling and tapping). Water outlet through a valve in the "lid". There will probably be a large chance of water entering the air outlet but that is what oil/water traps are designed for. I prefer getting the water where I can see it than trying to get it out of a valve on the bottom side of a horizontal tank. My old tank rusted through in the weld of the wtaer outlet valve

Igor - I think you have the world's first tank with a transverse mounted engine - based on the year it would have been manufactured that is. Very interesting concept.

That concept was based on Jagdpanther 2 from Amusing hobby which I am working on at the moment.

There is way to resolve problem with engine by means of installing radial aircraft engine so it could be placed longitudinally.

I started to plan my build for the ADATS and decided that since every other M113 I have built has a detailed interior, so then should this one. I did some preliminary work on the hull parts provided in the conversion. They are designed for a closed hull and have some heavy reinforcing ribs on them. when removed, the parts are a bit flimsy. Thus I decided to make my own hull roof after salvaging the drivers cupola. The floor will be somewhat different so I cut the academy one out. I will make a new one with styrene and PE floor plate.

Thank you for the advice, Gary. I will try to do something similar with my truck, if I am able. My start is awfuly slow, but slowly getting there. So far the model (made by PST) gives me some trouble. It seems the parts for the truck were made with a really old mould, while the gun is as crisp as any new tool. I'm struggling with the truck a bit, as the parts require a lot of work and they don't fit very well. The gun assembly goes much better though. Even instruction sheet looks like it was made by combining an old truck model with a new gun model, truck assembly being hand drawn, whereas gun assembly bits are computer generated.

as my Hetzer G-13 for the 500- campaign is nearly done, I would like to join you with another Hetzer but this time armed with 2 cm FlaK 38.
Dragon's Hetzer is totally wrong and therefore I will use thunder's Bergehetzer as a base and only the gun and some minor details will come from dragon.

Marek, welcome aboard. I have Thunder's Late Bergehetzer special edition in the stash, so I will watch the build here with interest. Pity the Dragon kit is so bad though.

Hi Igor. You can call the build done with just the gun and its base, or you can combine with a vehicle. You can do as many builds as you like, but you only get one ribbon.

Hi,Just wanted to post a progress photo. So far I find the build very challenging, but I enjoy it a lot. I messed up some things, butI think I am getting somewhere.

Finished butchering the hull and started a new hull roof. Also started cleaning up the resin turret parts.
