I have reached a milestone with this one, the hull interior is now done and I had hoped to make the upper hull detachable however due to warpage of same that won't be possible and it will take a bit of effort to get it all sealed up nicely with adhesive and probably some filler. It has gone together pretty well up till now although the ammunition racks were a PIA to paint.

First time using "Alclad" for shell cases, pretty pleased with result. TBC

That looks great. The interior weathering is really good. The amount of detail is mind boggling. I do not think I have the patience for something like that. How much is going to be visible on display? Are you doing an "exploded" view?

Thanks, No it will be mostly closed up so most of the detail will be lost for all time, crazy isn't it? but I do like models with interiors, I learn a lot by building them. The hull top is badly warped and is going to be a right pain in the butt to fit. I keep looking at it and then going and doing something else. So it may be a while before get round to some more pictures.

Cheers Paul

Some food for thought, have you considered contacting Takom and letting them know about the warped hull and that you wanted to build this Tiger to display your hard work with the interior. Maybe theyll send you a new upper hull.

Just looked at the date of my last post here... nearly a whole year! I fell away from it a bit but managed to finally get it done today.
