I want to buy miliput for creating extra equipment /stowage, but never used it.

Can I buy regular clay they sell at craft stores or maybe Plasticine instead?

They are much more cheaper. Is there any difference really? Tnx.

There are many 2 part epoxies like Aves, Milliput, etc., especially suited for model making.

I have used DAS terracota colour clay to make groundwork & sandbags, before no#3 daughter liberated it.

It's good stuff to learn with though...

The problem is with air-drying clay is that it tends to shrink, which could be an issue.

Stuff like plasticine and blue-tac, tends to leach icky oil, definately not a good thing...

You could search for epoxy putty on your favourite shopping site, some of the brands (151, car brands, etc.) are cheap,

but the standard yellow/grey Milliput in the red pack, is less than half the price of the black or superfine white and will last you years....
