In need of a bit of advice/clarification, I am planning to build the Bronco Cruiser A.10. My reference sources differ slightly over the colour that the tanks were sent out to the Middle East for the North Africa campaign. Some say they were sent out painted green & then painted in theatre, in the variation camouflage schemes. Another source says sent out in a sand scheme.
So which is most accurate?

Hi Neil

There is a lot of conflicting data around this. Some sources even say that they were delivered in SCC 2 Brown, being the standard colour of the time...

It would also depend on when the vehicles were actually delivered.

I believe the more thorough investigations of Mike Starmer and Mike Cooper would be the more reliable view:

somewhat (tenuously) supported by some period pics of vehicles being shipped OS in the sand colour
