I was sent a pre-production sample and it looks pretty good. It fixes pretty much all the issues the Orochi kit had. It also addresses the option of how to build it without the ERA blocks. With the new T161 tracks, it looks like a pretty nice kit.

They should fit fine as the sprocket and final drive parts are almost identical in the two kits. A note though, the T161 tracks were not use in Iraq (they came after Iraq), so you should leave off the ERA panels. I plan to do just that and make a modern M2A3 w/T161 tracks.

The only other parts that can be left off are the screens on the GPS, Driver's viewer, and CTIS lense. Without the ERA and screens, it is a standard, current M2A3.

I just bought one from Lucky Model. Came to $42 after shipping and handeling. Not bad!
