Is anyone else getting "site can't be reached errors" for Moxing.net? Tried three different browsers and two ISPs. I can only see the translated text of the site through google translate.

When I see stuff like this-- with unreachable site addresses, the suspicious side of me says-- "watch out!!!!" Especially when it seems its trying to take way yto long to load something on my computer. No offense, but this has a SPAM and SCAM flavor to it-- I hope I'm wrong.

The site is working fine for me and the kit looks great. Moxing.net is a safe site. I have been there many times and they always have great review/previews of the latest kits.

Moving Site worked fine for me.

The kit itself looks great, certainly helps me in the purchase decision. There are some ugly ejector pins marks in some places, mostly easily removable, though the ones on the frames, not so much. The chains look simplistic in plastic and may be better replaced. Looks like there is a place for the engine to be included that may be a later subject. Also, I like the inclusion of window paint masks.

Thought as much as the breakdown in the kit seemed made for it. I like it that way, gives modeller the choice without the expense if you don't want the engine.

Hobbyboss (Trumpeter) announced theirs a few months ago (back in October), very surprised that Meng got their out first, I'm going to be waiting for the comparison reviews, hoping that Meng didn't rush it out (some of the parts on the Moxing site look a little rough)

Look at step 3 in the instructions. I like how they made an alignment jig into the spruce for the frames

Not even close. It's all their own work, don't worry. The reason it looks similar is that the C-HET was also built by Oshkosh, so the real parts are similar as well.

Nick is spot on. I most likely will. I do have a soft spot for big trucks. I'll have to see the Hobby Boss one as well and will make up my mind on which one then.

Do you have any images of your project (M911) as I am working on the kit myself at the moment and to see someone else's work may help with a few minor issues I have with the construction.

Kind regards Dave W

Has anybody tried to understand where the metal axles (4 long and 2 short) should be used? They are not mentioned anywhere in the instructions but they should be included in the box.

I've seen a number of people ask about this, and I'm not sure why since they are clearly labelled in the instructions. Step 11, bottom of page shows the 2 x Metal Axle 2 that the rear truck tires are attached to.

Step 37, right side shows 4 x Metal Axle 1 that the trailer tires are attached to.
