I'm building a series of three tanks, all from the same unit. All three have two digit turret numbers. My eyes tell me the numbers are white, but for me it's hard to interpret B&W photos. Is yellow a possibility?

The third tank, an M4A3E8 is on page 220 of the Son of Sherman book.

Hi. I think yellow is a very distinct possibility for the turret numbers. Look at the tank's serial-and compare to the turret number. Notice that the turret number appears just a slight bit darker? The serial was invariably painted white so there's your reference. The slight darker shade of the turret number is most likely indicative of it being yellow.

Nice build idea by the way!
