Venelin,

Fantastic job with painting that figure, you really bought out the detail.

Wow
Looking at all the superb models built by highly talented modellers makes me feel like firing myself out of an Schwerer Gustav

Here is my humble entry for the GB....

PzKpfw VI Tiger by iflytb20, on Flickr

Orange Box edition of the Tiger 1 (with that hard taskmaster Oberleutnant Minion)

PzKpfw VI Tiger by iflytb20, on Flickr

The Kit. Even though the box is a bit shabby as compared to mainline Dragon kits, they do provide the DS tracks in a protective cardboard packing enabling the survival of the teeth. A real shame as I won't be using them

The AM items that I will be using. Decals for the Strolch, Copper towing cables and AFV Club tracks.

Please stay tuned for updates and thanks for looking

Making progress on my Tamiya Elephant entry. Finish base coat and camo. This is my first attempt at camo, the work is all free hand.

My plan is to display the tank abandon due to mine damage and the crew left in a hurry because the Americans were coming up the road.

Next step is create the diorama base and add all of the final touch ups.

Hello, Mark.
I like the camouflage. There is no reason not to be satisfied. My first camouflage was terrifying.

Hello everyone!
The Panther's turret is ready inside.

I expect the delivery of the zimmerit (ATAK Models)
and I start her exterior.

@Gaz yes Gaz, he has only five frames in the upper fuselage only in raised detail... the rest is recessed panel.

Welcome! Glad to see your planned build. The Tiger I is the most beautiful tank ever built.

Mark,
Love the camo on your Elefant! It's really coming along. I saw a show on a Elefant restoration. The damage that disabled was by a non-penetrating hit and amazingly small. Just a little steel pushed into the way prevented the drive sprocket from turning. I'll be looking forward to seeing yours.

I put the base cammo down the other day. I have added a couple filter layers since these pictures were taken. I loosely followed the box illustrations. Couple more filter layers then onto decals. Keep up the good work.

I picked up this kit with an opened box and cheap at a show, which means that the original owner bailed on the build. I can understand why with there being tiny parts, the plastic a little brittle, and a generally fiddly construction. It has been more nerve wracking than I prefer, but it seems it will be worth it in the end.

Hello everyone!
My work progress: I managed to deal with the zimmerit, the tools, I put the two tow cables, painted and made the camo.
Here are some photos.

The deckal of the turret is deliberately disturbed.
The weathering follows.
Good loock at all. Cheers.

If you can do so, you need to knock the rust off the two small outer pipes on the left-hand exhaust. Those were not subject to high temperatures as they sucked in cool air; they did not vent hot exhaust. The only rust they would have is from chipping and dinging like the rest of the tank.
