I forget all the details, but remember something about the Dragon barrel being the wrong length and a couple of other mfg's copied that length. If I remember right, Perth Mil Modeling (PMMS) had a review/comparison of which barrels got it right. The info was a couple of years old, but might keep you out of trouble.

Dragon showed the barrel not fully run out. The barrel should start to taper right at the forward edge of the barrel sleeve, rather than a couple of millimeters inside it. Easy to fix with a little styrene tube wrapped around the base of the barrel where it's inserted into the mounting. Someone posted that Dragon later fixed this, nut I haven't seen the re-releases to check.
