Hi all,

I'm about to build this kit. I try to find a build review of this kit but they were not available. It seems like nobody in the world and armorama has yet to build it.
Unlike my previous RG31 mk3 which i got plenty of build review here in armorama as well as on the internet.

Can somebody point out a good references for this vehicle. I plan to build OOB but will try to add some details just like my cadanian rg31 mk3.

thanks in advance

and happy 4th July to folks in the USA

Zaidi

The best reference is my walk around. It was used for the kit and the Legend upgrade (highly recommended). It has RG-31 Mks III and V, RG-33, RG-33L, Medevac version, SOCOM Variants, engine shots... Many are operational photos from Mosul.
You will not find a better value anywhere: Well over 1450 photos for $16.00. Not a typo, 1450, and the pages never fall out.

Not many photos of this variant floating around:

Silantra, there is a good review on the Perth Military Modelling Site. It looks like it is quite a good upgrade over the RG-31 Mk5 kit.

I have 18Bravo's pics for the RG31's and it's very useful, well worth every penny. There's not a better reference out there IMHO.

I can't open the files right now even though I brought them on a thumb drive (am OCONUS once again) as I only brought an iPad and there's no port. Trying to find a PC I'm actually allowed to use. At any rate, my photos will probably not help you. If memory serves me the ones I have show that mark in Iraq with slat armor and also what is very obviously field applied armor around the hood and possibly other areas. It also has the gyro cam and housing as found on the JERRV, and I don't believe that comes in the kit. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Another question on the RG31 Mk 5

i want to add some details to the interrogation arm cable.
I dont have the tankograd books but from tankograd website, i found this photo

I mark with the red arrow which show the cable goes in the hull.. is there any opening on the hull that allow the cable to go inside... or is the any port or what so ever

thanks
