Could someone with this kit please measure the height/diameter of part A29 for me? This is the v2 specific ICWS cupola adapter. Thanks.

Hello. Is this the correct part for the ICWS cupola adapter?

Sorry for the poor quality cell phone photos as I just ran these quickly during my lunch break.

If this is the correct part, here are some dimensions. All of this measured in inches.

Hope this is helpful? Please let me know if there is another feature I can try to measure. All the best- Stuart

Wow! Thanks Stuart! Very helpful! And thank you for removing the piece from the spruce!

Just confirming that the overall height (including the 0.015” mounting plate) is 0.0965”? Also confirming that the diameter of the tallest piece is 1.1795”...just can’t see the outside diameter of that mounting piece (with the bolts - I may’ve missed that).

G'day Greg! Oops... You are correct sir! I missed the outer most diameter... here it is

Yes I also confirm all your numbers read above. No worries on getting the part free if it helps the cause! Happy to help and best of luck with the effort.

Thanks Stuart.

Trying to understand the spacer and cupola compared to the non-CROWS equipped tanks. If possible (no stress if you can’t!); how does part X33 interface with part A29? Is there a size difference between the unused X32 and its replacement part, A12?

Cheers.

Greg if I understand your question correctly, are you asking how these fit together? Please see the images here showing the four guides on A29 mating with the inner diameter of X33 that hold the parts flush.

The X sprue

X33 upper side

X33 under side

Now A29 laid into the under side of X33

...and parts off set to show the interface...

When set together, the outer part diameters are flush.

No. Looks like the only differences are the attachment points, (or depressions) on part A12. Likewise top and underside. Both parts measure the same across flats. Please see here...

Please let me know if this is clear as it is easy to add more photos or details.

Stuart - fantastic. Thanks!

You interpreted correctly, I was confirming how the two pieces fit together to see how tall the overall spacer was (was it 0.0965” or was it 0.0965” + the height of the cupola itself).

If I could find this kit at a reasonable price, I’d grab it! Thanks for helping out.

Stuart - could you compare the original spacer (X3 + X12?) to the new one (A29)?

Greg- Please see the photos here. I guess I do not fully understand how X3 & X12 work with each other as the diameter of X12 is larger? I overlaid A29 with each to try to show this as well as the overall dimensions. Please share your insights into how this should look together as I clearly need help?

Hope to discuss this with you soon my friend!

Thanks for the bump - thought I had replied 😊

I think I need to get this kit. The hunt begins.
