I looked at the posts on another board the other day, and I liked what I saw with one small exception. Something about the rack at the turret rear looks odd to me. Doesn't matter much, as most were torched off and a new one built in it's place. Noticed that the grenade launchers were empty! Finally! Never saw one with any grenades in them, but beer cans instead. I liked the looks the hull front, but couldn't tell much about the turret shape. If they get that complete irregular shape right, I'll be in seventh heaven.

The rack position is fine, it's the correct shape, but the real ting was made from bent up angle-iron, covered with a net for securing items. I've never seen the contraption at the front, it must be a field mod, since it would certainly interfere with the floatations gear, which leans out from the hull in the front.

It was a field mod, to keep tree branches from smacking the driver in the face when driving through heavy bush with his hatch open. There were variations. I scratch-built one when I did the 'ancient' Tamiya Sheridan. Never saw it hang so low though. Al

I can't understand why Tamiya has not included one. All Nam versions had them (from all the pics I have seen).
