Short on the heels of Takom, Amusing Hobby raises the bet with a full interior Ferdinand.

Is Amusing Hobby related to Takom in any way? The crane is such an obscure subject, I guess this isn't just a coincidence, but who knows...

STOP ALREADY... My bank account can't take it any more. Finally a Tiger P (based vehicle) with full interior. Incredible.

Rearranged my must buy list again. This is now number 2 on the list. Unless the elefant is less than stellar. Then I'll get Takoms crane and use one of my dragon elefants. But they don't have an interior so you see where this is going? Circles.

Yes sometimes you can wounder if they all work together as why should they release the same things at the same time, it's not just a coincident., or if they use the same company that makes the kit and they telling it.... But it's still great that they will release it

I hope they'll release the Ferdinand kit separately as I have no use for the crane and it would bring the cost down.

I have a Dragon Elefant kit with an aftermarket interior set, but even from these CAD shots it seems that it can't compare to what's apparently coming with the AH kit.

The connection to Takom I noticed first is that this Fries crane is just what I need to go with Takom's V-2 kits with the Meillerwagen and Vidalwagen!

I doubt the Fries Crane is being released ONLY in the same kit as the visible Elephant.

I am sure Amusing Hobbies is well aware of what a good companion piece the crane will be to the Takom V2.

Yes, except it (the Takom version anyway) apparently doesn't come with the lighter "T shaped" handling jig for the V-2, which means you'd need to scratch-build it or wait for aftermarket) but knowing Takom, they'll probably release it in a separate offering with the Vidalwagen, Meillerwagen and the SS100 at a totally unaffordable price. As someone else said-- I have two perfectly good kidneys....I only need one!

No, it is a single kit as shown on their facebook page. Takom has already announced their own crane, which has lifting gear for tank turrets included.

Pretty soon everyone will be crying, "Oh, no! Not another Strabokran! Why don't they make something no one has ever done before herpily-derpily-do."

But Bert-- there's no V-2 lifting rig! Hopefully someone will come up with one or Takom will produce this specifically for the V-2-- or we can scratchbuild-- I'm sure you get the plans on your website!

I wanted the Gantry Crane by itself but if they would do a Combi-pak with the Porsche Tiger I might just have to buy both!

I could see buying the gantry but I'm particularly excited by the Ferdinand as I was sitting on the old and pricey Jaguar resin interior conversion but couldn't get started as I couldn't verify the interior layout. There seems to be a near-absence of Fer/Elephant interior shots so who to believe. On the other hand I have some doubts and trepidations concerning Amusing putting the huge main gun shells racked nose-down. Can anyone out there verify the accuracy of this ready-rack ammo set up? Either way I want one. The gantry maybe later. The idea of a combi pack is divisive unless the other kit is truly dirt cheap; I personally have no use for another Panther kit as I already have literally too many!

Not to mention possibly too many Tiger Is, King Tigers, and almost any other piece of German armour conceived of by the big model-producing companies. Yup, I've been hoarding like all of you and if I live to 150 I might -might- finish them all. Hardly likely, therefore too many Panthers, etc. Hurts but it is simply true.
