I remember now!

I saw it right here in town at the Kentucky Aviation Museum! They are using it as a small aircraft engine lift.

I had noticed the lift was obviously removable, as it is missing in the other period pics of the operation The U-shaped base is fitted with wheels, and I guess this "chassis" is made with T-shaped beams

Hello Michael.
Just watch this field work shop. Options for a Sd.Kfz.9 "FAMO" build with a nice and different hoist/crane.

It seems to be an engine repair site. Loads of engines everywhere.
