Hi All,

Hers's my latest build I completed last night.

Panther Ausf A - Refuelling

Tank/Figures - The Panther Ausf A is from Tamiya and it is kit #35065, even thou this is an older Panther kit it is still a great kit to build. The figure's are from Master Box and is kit #35160 and as you can see two are going to refuel and the others are just chin wagging.

Base - is thick foam board and the mud was done using a mix of spakfilla/sand/dirt with a little water and then I added Vallejo's Chocolate Brown and once the lot was mixed I applied it to the base and tank.

Once the mix was dry I then gave it a wash of Vallejo Chocolate Brown and Matt Black and once the wash dried I used Woodland Scenics Realistic Water with some Vallejo Beige Brown and applied it to the base to give the mud the wet look and puddles and the foliage is a mix of Army Painter grass tufts and Woodland Scenics fine leaf foliage.

Another winner for sure! The camo paint scheme looks great. I'm still impressed with how you paint the tiny details, like the collar piping colors. Love to see your work!

Thanks heaps Jack and the major part of the camo on the tank was done using an air brush which is the first time I've ever used one in 39yrs and loved it. I have used Tamiya sprays but that is far as it went with spraying but now using my mates air brush on this I'll have to get one.

I wanted the dots to look like they were used using a brush so I just hand painted them on. I will get a vid tutorial up when I start my next project as that will have tankers and troops so I can do it all in one go.
