As the topic title says, Tamiya is planning to announce a 1/35 Hummel SPG in the Shizuoka Hobby Show slated for may of the current year. Oh well, I was hoping something different. Posted on the Tamiya home page under the The 58th Shizuoka Hobby Show link.

Hello, Javier!

Thanks for the News! (Even though I don't plan on buying a Hummel) While we're on the subject of new products, I have to agree that "I was hoping something different", too!!!

I could make a list that is a mile long, but that would NOT serve ANY purpose, at all...

PS- I LIKE your picture!!!

Also, your call-sign, "nachjaeger" would mean "after hunter" or "to Hunter", depending on its usage, in German. Perhaps you mean to have named your call-sign as "Nachtjaeger", which means, "Night Hunter"..? Yes? No? Maybe?

Well, they could have done a...umm...Tiger I..LOL! But seriously, if Tamiya was on the Vietnam 'mood', they could have followed up their superb Sheridan with a new tool M113 APC. Can you imagine that?

Wow that looks very nice! New tool figures to boot as well. 2019 shaping up to be a good year for new kits.

The figures are nice, and a separate release of them would be a welcome addition to just about any open-top SP. Although, a crew in action firing would be even more useful.

Since I am not a true WWII Wehrmacht fan, I would rather go with a "shake-and-bake" Tamiya Kugelblitz for 50 to 55 Euros instead of a 77 Euros multipart Dragon kit.
