Hi folks,

I'd like to share my current WIP, a SIG 33B. After asking for advice in the forum, I decided to apply the whitewash with white oil paint. I then added some sponge chipping and dry brush of the original panzer grey. I'm considering chipping it some more and maybe adding a grey filter to tone down the white. Would also need to weathering the running gear, and add the rear exhaust after I put some rust on it. Would highly appreciate any constructive criticism. Thanks folks!

Looks great so far! Two questions: Is this the Dragon kit?,, and are those Kaizen tracks? Looking forward to see how you finish this beast!

Really nice work Nigel, as others have said all it really needs is to be weathered and muddied up a bit.I am looking forward to seeing it finished. Thank you for sharing with us. Best regards......Dale

Thanks mate. This is the older 90s Dragon kit reboxed by cyberhobby and given the newer panzer III magic tracks and 4 Stalingrad era German troops. Got it for around 25 USD locally which is a good deal imho.

Thanks Dale! I'm planning on adding mud and snow on her tonight. Hopefully it looks better afterwards.

Very nice.

Thanks mate! Really appreciate it.

Anyway, quick update. I managed to get a few hours in on the bench. I got a biiiit carried away when I applied the mud. Hid a lot of my work on the lower hull. Oops. Anyway, here's where my SIG 33B is now. Would greatly appreciate any constructive criticism. I'm hoping to enter this in our local scale model competition 5 days from now. As always, would appreciate any comments. Thanks!

Doesn't look overdone at all, and imho, it would look perfect in some kind of Stalingrad scenario. Excellent weathering work!

Thanks mate! Really liked the unique silhouette of the subject too. Was a big factor in my purchase.

Thanks mate I really wanna try my hand at dioramas someday, but my current living space doesn't allow for it yet. One day.

Anyway. I'm calling her done. Here's the photos of how she looks now. Off to our local contest with her.
