Another update post for my project. I got the logs added to the sides and the board attached to the front for carrying gear, all of which are based on photographs that I used for reference. I also replaced a part of the launcher that I managed to break off.

Going to add some more gear and things to give it more of a lived in look and I still have the weathering to do. But getting closer to having a completed project.

Thanks,
Randy

Looking at my ref. photos closer I saw I had the interior of a sd.kfd250/5, but the cage was from a sd.kfz250/3 so I had to remove the cage.

COMMENT CAFE:

Randy, your Sherman Calliope looks wonderful. The stowage and timbers add great realism to the tank.
Ezra, welcome to the campaign. Enjoy.
Ezra, the Bradley interior looks terrific. Nice M60 too.
Ezra, nice to see another Braille scale build here. Cool job on the SdKfz. 250 interior. Love the antenna covering.

Good luck to everyone on their projects.

Update on my British Paras vs German Ostwind diorama.

How many of us modelers have added details that will most likely never be seen? Adding missing steering linkage, muffler, oil tank, and skid guard to the bottom of the jeep.

Added the storage brackets for the ladder and conduit pipes. Also I bent the front fender by applying heat to it.

Construction is complete on the communications jeep. Scratchbuilt the ladder and conduit pipes(styrene).

Also made the damaged wire spool bin for the front fender area.

Lastly, the large wire spool came from a Herpa accessories pack. I'm fairly satisfied with the overall look of the comms jeep. Now, it's on to the painting phase.

Thanks for viewing. Good luck to everyone on their projects.

Super work going on in this campaign.

I've finished my 1974 Tamiya 8 rad. Here are a few pictures. The setting is Greece 1941. Arid and dusty.

Please ignore the figures as they are not the appropriate vintage... Ahem

Thanks for a great campaign!

So nice to start a simple kit and finish it within a few months.

Best

Here is my tamiya 1/35 Bradley. With the paint, decals, chiping and washes!(although I could leave it, and call it finished I still need to do mud, dust and grease and grime!)
