Not cheap enough, $400 per tire. Premium is about 4 bucks a gallon. But I don't drive much anymore about 400-500 miles a month. I'll fill up once a month and drive like an old maid. Usually.

Premium around here would be somewhere around $6:30- for a US gallon but the average Swedish car consumes less fuel than the average US ride ;-)

And they're safer too. Just a little drab. My brother had both a Saab and a Volvo. Besides in the 16 years I've owned it I've only received 4 tickets. 3 for speeding, one for losing control on black ice and ending up in a ditch. One speeding was dismissed because I had severed most of my thumb and it wouldn't stop bleeding so I was in a bit of a hurry to get to the e.r. and a traffic cam caught me.

Drab?
A friend of mine had a Volvo S80 with the T6 engine, it was good for over 250 km/h (155 mph) with a small trailer .... it had been tweaked a little, not much, just a little bit ...

His Volvo was an old blue station wagon. Looked like a math teachers car and I always thought Saabs looked like turtles but my brothers sure didn't move like one, it was a fun car to drive but predictable, it was hard to take it to the edge.

I have been hitting one forum after another trying to get an ad to pop up but no luck.
