Adding these makes it 273 figures,, with one firing a panzerfaust, one firing a rifle, and the rest only standing there. (see Evolution announcement).

So he doesn’t make “in action” figures. This business model works for him otherwise he won’t have gotten this far. I don’t understand the need to poo poo what they want to make.

They are good looking figures even if I probably won’t get them.

It's strange the way things change. When I was (much) younger, the only figures you could get to complement your vehicles were usually in lurid combat poses, firing weapons, stabbing each other etc. Now we have people complaining that the poses are too static. Given that military service is 90% waiting and boredom, and 10% terror, I'm willing to accept more static poses. They actually represent the military experience more accurately! If you want combat poses, you are better off looking to Miniart and Masterbox.

Hi

I'm a fan of Alpine and have far more of their figures than any other manufacturer but to me these are just not up to the same level. Maybe its the painting but they just don't look in line with previous releases in detail, clothing folds, etc. Sorry Taesung.

Hello!! Gentlemen, and again we see the same thing)) as I understand it, the sculptor from Alpine no longer has imagination ???? or does he expect something to come out ?? well, what kind of poses, how much can you do the same thing, I don’t understand what is the coolness of these figures, when this company already had such

While the lack of action-poses is a shame Alpine's figures are so stunning that I don't notice the loss much. Besides, I have so many tanks to crew that more command figures are always useful and these two are -in typical Alpine fashion- amazing. I'll take two sets please!

Hi
Yes I'm aware not only Taesung didn't sculpt the figures, it is in fact a guy who created a couple before in the range. Also that Taesung didn't paint them either.

Sculpture by Boris Knokhov / Box Art by Toshihiro Sano

He always credits the sculptor and the box art artist when presenting new figures.

Don't get me wrong they are not awful by any stretch of imagination, just not as good as what has been released before or use to, in my opinion.

Alan
