I know since this is Armorama we are focusing on the armor, but as someone who also builds 1/32 aircraft I am liking all the figure sets of air and ground crew they are about to hit us with.

And all the other early-war fighters like the Fiat and the Gladiator, ICM is out to please a lot of people with all kinds of interests. I am quickly becoming more and more impressed with what these guys are doing; they have come quite a way from the kits I was building just a few years ago.

I went ahead and downloaded the catalog, and while the only new 1/35 piece I'm interested in is the SdKfz 247 Ausf B, looking through it I see all the previous releases I don't yet have and coupled with all the new 1/32 aircraft I am good with it. ICM could have done nothing this year and I would still have new stuff to buy, they have been so prolific recently.

The Leyland Retriever looks very promising
I hope that ICM continues to maximise the use of their molds and that there will be more variants of this truck.

The Chernobyl figure kits look particularly interesting. Good use for the fire truck molds even if a little uninspired. Though these sets havemultiple alternative uses in my minds eye. They will be joining the stash

REALLY looking forward to the Leyland Retriever. A very pleasent surprise. Hopwfully they will make a machinery truck, Monty's caravan and even a Coles crane.

I had given up hope on ICM doing a Zil firetruck so I really am pleased to see this one finally.

I'm liking that BM-13-16 and the FCM 36. Too bad I build so slow

ABOUT TIME the Sd.Kfz 247 will be done in plastic. Now i can try to sell the Sovereign 2000 Sd.Kfz 247 resin kit i've had for years. What's next? Maybe the Vomag w/ the 88mm Flak gun.

There is a SdKfz 247 Ausf A in plastic. I was rather hoping Bronco would get around to making an Ausf B but I guess I can stop now.

Again an interesting lorry from the UK.
Not too many pictures on the web therefore my question in which units it was used?
Actually it is the same with the Bedford QL series: one has difficulties to find their application in which units.
So, is there anyone who can help me into an organisational scheme, please?

Thanks in advance.

The sets that I'm excited about are the First and Second World war British Vickers MG sets. I've quite got into WW1 figures recently (the detail on the ICM figures I've built is almost on a par with resin it's that sharp) so a Vickers would be ideal for a trench defence dio. I've bought the German Maxim set which is very good but the thing that I found bloody annoying is that the webbing straps stop at the shoulders on the back as you're told to put rucksacks on them which is highly unlikely given that it's a defensive weapon and the crew would just be in fighting order. To me it would have made sense to do complete webbing then we'd at least have an option. Hopefully the British set will have complete webbing. A WW2 set will be very useful and hopefully they'll just be in battledress blouses. The Gecko set looks good but only any good for late war crap weather dios due to them all wearing leather jerkins which weren't that common. It does make me wonder if they're going to do some NW Europe British infantry as well to go with the Vickers crew? It would be nice to see someone release a set (or sets being optimistic) of British infantry in firing positions- kneeling, standing, prone- as the only options on the table are the DML Normandy and Monte Cassino sets (both OOP for years), which while good sets are a bit limited. Looking through ICM's catalogue there are some really interesting kits in all categories. I find it very refreshing to see manufacturers doing something different, although having said that it seems that it's the Ukrainians- ICM, Miniart, Masterbox- are rapidly becoming the most innovative and interesting companies on the market.

I was picked up on the leather jerkin as it was a sought after piece of clothing that was highly prized.

Lots of good stuff here; the FCM 36 is most welcome, though I'd also like to see a Lorraine schlepper/Marder conversion. Maybe some WWI armour. The usual.

The FCL 36 is cute. I wonder how long until we see a German 7.5 and 10.5 cm version?
