While I applaud MiniArt's engineering prowess, I wonder if having a Czech conversion kit and a few Egyptian decals on hand, would suffice.

Different tailpipes (longer)
Different external fuel tanks on the rear end (side mounted tanks seem to be the same)
Need to get that machine gun (12.7 mm DShK) on top of the turret
Jerry can rack at the rear end

Might be easier and quicker to get Miniarts kit.
I presume that they will release a non-interior kit after a few months, they have done it for all the other kits that can be built closed up ...

And of course modify the front fenders, which isn't difficult.

Nice kit. I see a couple in my future.

I looks to be a magnificent kit but I do question these highly detailed interiors, just how many of us will be showing these areas of the kit and just how much of it will be visible through open hatches etc?

Apparently they have sold enough of the initial T-55/54 variants with interiors so that they think it is good business to continue making kits with interiors.
If too few customers bought them they would stop making them.
If retailers were stuck with unsold stock of the initial interiors kits they would stop buying them and Miniart would notice but apparently the retailers get them sold.
I always close the hatches (I've got one Tiran version with interior since I got tired of waiting) but the rest will be exteriors only.

I will calmly wait for the non-interior kit.

Does anyone make a Czech conversion kit?

If someone does I think they will be facing tough competition:

There was a place called Mitla pass where I'm sure the interiors were shown off to good advantage many times.

MR Models (kit MR-35071) made such a kit...in resin. Main users of this variety of tank: Egypt, Syria, and Iraq.
