Documents about the T-44 being scarce, I wonder if the first tracks were T-34 ones ?
Relying on kits, the old Accurate Armour has T-34 ones and the Miniart T-44M has specific ones.

I don't have the Miniart T-44 kit, so I don't know about the tracks in the box.

About the wheels, are they of the same diameter as T-34 or T-54 ?
Th0nks in advance for your replies.

The T44 has T34 85 tracks and road wheels. The T44M has T54 traks and running gear including a spoked drive sprocket. I think the T54 tracks used where the 500mm ones from the early 54s though not the later 580mm ones.

Thanks, Greg.
That will simplifie my future builds.
Once again, from the kit, T-44M tracks are not the "classical" T-54/55/62 ones but the early version as on T-54 Mod46 or Mod49.
