Nice one Jan, love your work! What kit did you use? What about the tracks? Are they kit or AM ones?

My Aussie Vietnam era M113 is still waiting for my King Tiger to be finished, although I might get cracking this weekend.

Cheers,

Aaron.

The interior of my Turkish bucket is constructed, the wheels are ready. However, there's a dispute going on whether the interior should be light green or base white, as some of the vehicles were modernized and repainted, some modernized but not repainted and some not modernized at all. The secrecy policy of the Turkish Army makes it even harder to get good reference pics or find adequate information at all. As soon as I can find some suitable reference, I will continue to construct my bucket.

I plan to finish my model until the end of this month. Let's see what happens...

M163 Vulcan Saudi army.
Paints are Vallejo Model Air . Nice kit too from Italeri. Thanks Dexter for the photos.
Also used various pastels for sand, dirt weathering etc.
Thanks for the campaign Klaus.

Sorry for the poor quality photos. I seem to be having trouble with my camers. Probably lack of use.
Cheers

Klaus,
thanks for the support. Model Air is very easy to use. No thinning at all, just straight from the bottle. Good coverage too. I love using Model Air because it is so easy.Low air pressure, certainly less than 10p.s.i.

When finished I do put distilled water through for a minute, then strip the airbrush and leave it in a dish with Tamiya thinners. Just a little will do. Never had any problems this way.
Cheers
Tony

I started my Aussie 'nam era M113 on the weekend. Almost finished the interior, and am loading up the airbrush with the OD. Watch this space my friends...

I took some photos of an Australian M113 A1 Fire Support Vehicle at the commemoration of the Battle of Long Tan at the Australian War Memorial recently. Let me know if you're interested if you're building the not-so-OOP Tamiya kit.

Good to hear from you guys....

Cheer up Erick, I know you can start.....if you have no motivation to start a new one, you can finish your Command Vehicle, it´s more than ok to me.....

Aaron, nice to hear you´re progressing....I´m interested in pics of that vehicle, didn´t know you have one in the War Memorial, I was there in 2002 and can´t remember seeing one

Cheers

Just got to replace the aerials on my Turkish AIFV and I'll be done. I'll post some pics in a couple of days.

Here y'ar mate. It was inside, lurking in the Vietnam Gallery down stairs. Because the gallery is currently being redeveloped, it was out on display for the day.

Cheers,

Aaron.
