I'm hoping to be able to find a small stencil suitable for replicating labelling on fuel barrels, ammunition crates, etc. I've searched the usual retail sites I use, but could only find stencils for unit markings on vehicles, etc. which is not really what I'm after.

Hi again Sean,

I know that a member here was asking in the recent past for ideas and examples as to the type of stencilling that people would like to see.

This was to assist a manufacturer who was intending to produce this useful item. I am waiting with bated breath for some annoncement as to the release of this stencil set.

Sean/John

The stencil in question is designed mainly for German ammunition crates and should be available within the next week or two (had to be redone this week).
The stencil will look as follows:

There will also be a document sheet accompanying the fret to explain the system used by the Germans when marking crates. The document will look something like this:

Fantastic Brian.

You're next assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to do something similar for Fuel barrels, jerry cans, nebelwerfer rockets, et al :-) :-)

Will you give us a heads up when these are available?

Heheh - as far as I have seen, most jerry cans and fuel barrels have the lettering moulded in - no need for stencil.

The next one will probably be an equivalent fret for Allied - it will be difficult as it would need both British and American stencils - need a good allied researcher
