Hehe since I am just getting back into the hobby (after an absence of 10 or more years), I find alot of kits with separate links for tracks?

I searched the Armour tips section but didn't find anything on track links.

I know the rubber tracks weren't the best but building the separate tracks looks daunting...

Any good tips on building these?

Bill what kind of armor are you building? Tamiya rubber tracks can hold paint and glue these days I use superglue to glue the tracks Don't use enamel paint on Tamiya tracks use acrylics I hear enamels break down the Tamiya tracks If your gonna do Sherman tanks I highly reccommened AFV CLUB or RHPS links $13-20 U.S. but they snap together

Welcome back to modeling, Billy
For a good article on individual track links---go to Home Page, on right side, Technique database, Armor, tracks.
