I have been searching all over the internet for a M901 (hammerhead TOW M113) Kit and or conversion. I have seen OLD reviews about an academy kit, but haven't located one. I REALLY want to build one ( I was a gunner on an ITV...now converted to SBCT with Shellback 966 HMMWV Truck Commander) The only option I am seeing is to buy a M113 and the LAV TUA and kitbash. That option looks a little pricey and almost out of the scope of my ability. Does anyone know of any old Kits floating around, or maybe an obscure manufacturer with a current kit? Thanks.

The Academy kits (#1361) are still kicking around on shelves. There's also the Italeri M901 ITV (kit #254). Academy kit is better though and gives the option to make the FIST-V as well.

Verlinden made an ITV conversion set for the basic Tamiya M113A1. It's OOP, but you can search for it on eBay.

The only complete kit to build a M901 that did exist was the Italeri kit No. 264 ( sorry Rob, not 254) but as far as I know this is OOP for a while.
The Academy M113 kits are better than the Italeri ones but there's no M901 kit from Academy, the clossest one is a M981 FIST-V (kit No. 1361) but the turret is slightly different (no TOW tubes).
You could try and find the old Verlinden M901 conversion but you could also use an Emerson TOW turret from another vehicle like a LAV.
