I always was fascinated by how things work and how they look like from the inside. (That's why I become a Biologist ) Ever since I first saw a built Tamiya Sturmtiger in the LHS ten years ago, and the Academy Tiger with interior at a show (not to mention the Trumpeter T-34), I've been trying to build everything I can with interior showing.
Would you be interested in a long-term campaign where everything goes provided it has an interior. It can be something simple: a SKIF kit, or it can be more difficult, like the Academy Tiger, or the Eduard Hetzer, or it can be some really good resin interior, or completely scratchbuilt. The interior can be shown with hatches/doors open, or the vehicle shown on the assembly line, half finished, a blown-up wreck, or a cutaway model -anything. (I might even venture suggesting to include aircrafts and ships, subs, the Millenium Falcon cutaway or an anatomy figure of a Balrog...)
Since the project is long, the campaign should last for a year.
So: what do you think?

Sounds like it would be a cool campaign. I agree with you. I always feel a model isnt complete if the interior isnt detailed properly. I still have an AAVP7A1 from tamiya thats been in my closet for years. I havent built it because the kit had no interior and the interior kit is almost $100! Whatever I build I always build the interior if possible. It just seems incomplete to me without an interior. Go for it, I would be in if the campaign flies.

I've got the Academy Vietnam M113 kit and would most certainly love to submit that into this campaign.
I havent done alot of kits with an interior so it would be nice to participate in this.
Im in!

That could be cool. It would give me an excuse to get started on my T-34 in 1/16 scale from Trumpeter.
However, I agree it should be a one year campaign to allow time for the bigger and more timeconsuming builds. Especially the those who would like to scratchbuild an interior. However, some 1/35 kits with an interior shouldn't necessarily take so long, so there will also be room for those who like to finish projects within a few months.

I'd go for that. I've got a M109 Paladin variant stashed away with an interior AM kit.

I think I would most definitely like to join up on this one, depending on the time-frame involved.

Sounds like a good idea. I always love seeing a tank/apc with a complete interior becuase it adds that little bit more of interest and looks cool in minature through the hatches, just like a little minature world! Ive got a resin Mr model M88A1 interior, this would be a good excuse to use it.
