Its kits like this that does tempt me to the dark side and start WWII kits. (Sound familiar Vinnie?)

The base and the overall kit is very well done. The figures does make it all the more interesting as it looks like they are on reconnaissance patrol.

A masterpiece as always Vinnie.

Nice work Vinnie, did you use the kit fenders and bang them up a bit on the front ends or replace them with brass?

Thanks Dave! Bill, I thinned down the kit's plastic fenders and then bent them a little.

Hi Vinnie,
as usual your models have always the same effect on me......, just make me stare in front of the video for minutes..!
To me your modelling skills are no more a matter of discussion. So let me ask you something different.., which kind of grass have you used in the scene.., it looks quite taller than the one im using at the moment. Would you be so kind to tell me which brand produce it and eventually where can i buy it.
Im still a newbie so please be patience..lol.

Thanks and many compliments again.
Alex.

Great build Vinnie, I have been wondering what you have been working on.
This kit looks like it is well worth the effort.

Thanks John! Alessandro, it's called Heki grass. I'm sure if you put it into Google it will up with a supplier near you.

Vinnie,
Nice. I think I remember this sitting on your bench. The whole piece is beautiful in it's simplicity> Bang up job.
Cheers,

I'm with Jeremy about kits like these tempting me to go to the dark side. And Vinnie's excellent work on it helps sell even more.

One thing I don't understand is why the Germans put those frame works on the back decks of some of their vehicles? Kind defeats the usefulness of the turret it would seem in my mind. Again though I really don't know enough about German vehicles to know any better.

Great work Vinnie.

Excellent work, VInnie!
I read a lot of good comments about Tristar kits, and this seems to be a confirmation!

Ah, the Tristar kit makes its appearence! Lovely work Vinnie, but I especially love those figs! Wow. How was the kit to build? Pretty straight forward?
