Ok Brian if it takes you trying to disgrace me to make yourself feel better. Job well done. But for a person who just made up a name to log in here today and point a finger not knowing what they are talking about you sure are grasping at straws. ML banned me not because of trade deals but because I am the one who asked the inquiry as to why there was no Dragon Tigers left on the lhs shelves during x-mas and their real excuse was that I didnt have a real name for posting(so thats what they told me). As far as looking in the mail for a package that wasnt there well you had alot of options to take. There is whats called a phone or regular email which I know you've known about for how many months? (whoops brainfart?) Oh but thats right you did contact me through ebay in open public about your kits with a real intelligent nasty email open to the public. Or hey you could actually mail me a letter but most of all..you could get in the car and come gettem. I like the last one best but I dont think it would happen. As far as the group goes...I've toldem to hold off posting,.But have been ask to tell you not to bring them into this any further. At this point ,say what ya like and if anyone here questions my credabilty they are more than welcome to ask others. Or I can supply a list of those who are willing to vouch for me. The rest of this belongs else where but here brian in my book. I am trying not to bring ppl and proof into this but your leaving me no choice. Even when this anubis stuff went rotten I was polite and nice about how it ended. Leave it at that or this will become a eye opener and I am sure amorama will stop it before its get to deep in drama. I think I have said enough. I'll leave the rest up to you. Ive got nothing to hide and alot to show.

You disgrace yourself. Not me. I just want my kits. You seem to mention everything but the kits. You mention judges and all your people and this and that. I just want what you said you would send me. You call yourself a SOB with an attitude not me, You said I need to call you to get my stuff. I have sent you private e-mails trying to get my items. I sent e-mail through ebay as well, but still nothing. Why do I need to pester you to get what YOU said YOU would send me. You just said a judge would be needed to get my stuff but now your saying if I called you you would ship them? Which is it? All I ever asked, was to send the kits. You said you decided that you no longer owed them to me. I don't need to be clever make you look like a chump, you do that all by yourself. I'll ask again, can you please send me my kits that YOU said YOU would send. Oh and by the way why do you want me to come down there, you gonna beat me up after school? How about stopping the threats and go to the post office and do the honorable thing and send the kits.

Ah, C'mon gentlemen. Please knock it off and take it private.

I understand pointing out potential bad traders, but there is no need for bickering back and forth.

Interesting to come across this exchange. I was looking for information for Mr Kalb as well. I am a member of one of teh sci fi boards http://www.maschinenkrueger.com/forum/index.php

I too have had a deal fall through this month, kits promised, stated they were shipped, I used postal tracking, mine WERE delivered to him, so far the exact same song and dance and NO kits

trade with Mr Kalb at your own risk. So far I have been ripped off- just as a heads up, this IS a small community as stated

I sent a maschinen krieger kit, the Fledermaus out, I did not get the two kits promised in return. I sent mine out AFTER I was told that my kits had already been sent in the post. I was suppose to get the Kauz and the Fliege. Not sure if you are familiar with them, again they are sci fi kits.

I HAVE gotten an email promise to get my kit back, if It does show back up I will post that information. I will wait and see.

I recieved a PM from Mike Kalb after I posted my trade list in this forum.

He simply said, "I have the detail items you are looking for".

When I emailed him back asking what items he had and what he wanted from me, he replied via email, "Which PM, I've been busy."

Sounds like he has been busy according to this thread. Sending out PM's to random people about trades.

Just my opinion, but I wouldn't trade with him.

All I know is that I get no answers to my emails or inquiry (up a few posts) about the tracking number I've been supposed to be getting.

Add my name to the list of the screwed. Mike got me for over $100 worth of kits and accessories. He's offered excuses and says he is returning my kits but I don't have them and that's the only thing I am interested in, no excuses, no crap!

I know our trade was a private matter but I would have liked to have stumbled onto this thread before I sent my kits to Mike.

Cheers,

Larry

Well, below is my list of items as per the trade deal with Mike Kalb. Deal was agreed to on Apr.11, 07 and my items were shipped to him via insured post Apr. 12, 07. By his own admission, he received my items, and I have yet to receive mine.

Kits I sent to mike Kalb:

Kits I was to receive from Mike Kalb:

(2) Dragon Initial Tiger 3-in-1 kits
(2) lion roar etched sets for initial Tiger
(1)SdKfz 251/7 Ausf D Pionierpanzerwagen 3-in1
(1)Verlinden Military Vehicle Stowage - German WWII

AFV Club: 35084 75mm L/24 ammo
AFV Club:35096 88mm shell
Fruil: Elefant track set

Below is a quote from one of the e-mails I was sent from Mike while we were working out the deal.

Hell I could go on, Believe me when I say I have way
way too much with what I have. Just put it this way I
have 10 years of hording model kits, And details. When
I moved here my gal asked how much I spent on my hobby
and I coudnt even come to a figure. Plus a
neighborhood hobby store went out of buisness and I
bought almost the entire armor section ( all 6,000
dollars worth) I could open a hobby store myself.
Yeah my hobbby (addiction) knows no bounds.
But I digress. As for what you are looking for e-mail
me what you are looking for and i will see if I have
it.

Hey Mike
It sounds like you've pissed alot of other people off here. You have my tiger, now I want my stug. You know you don't have to be a douche bag and rip everyone else out of their stuff. It sounds like you don't even have this stuff, so cut the BS and trade fairly. The modeling community is really small and people are generaly fair to each other, now the modeling community wants you head on a pike.

Hi

What a c%&$ this guy is, but lucky he didn't get me. Over at maschinenkrueger.com his name there is BlitzKampf9
and he tried to trade me one sf3d kit for three 1/35 scale kits. When he told me he had sent his kit to me I was a little surprised as I hadn't really dicussed postage options. I thought it was abit strange.

So I thought since I am sending three kits to his one, I would wait till his kit got here first. Well it's nearly a month and no kit, So I am glad that I waited.
His address again just incase he does try this on someone else

Sorry mate this Aussie was to smart for you.

Surely someone in Canada on this site could have the police go around and have a talk to this guy as he clearly is not learning from his mistakes.

Thanks

Gentlemen, I would like to give you some advice if I could. I have recently graduated from the Police Foundations Program at St. Lawrence College here in Kingston. These are my suggestions.

Do not simply contact the police and explain. Get together as a group, all who have been ripped off, and create a summary of what has happened, including total "bluebook" value of all losses, and his name and address.

Then each victim create a seperate summary including your addresses, and the "bluebook" value of your individual losses. Attach all evidence you can to this individual summary. Send all items as one email or package. Send not only to the Peel Regional Police, but also to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. They have more power and influence in cross-border crimes.

I would also recommend contacting a local police agency State-side, and possibly also copying the email to the FBI. They may have more interest in American victims, and do have more money and resources to apply.

If your evidence is clearly put together, it will save police agencies a lot of time in compiling evidence, which makes it more attractive as an immediate case. Also, if you disclose the total value of your losses, it will catch attention as one of you has claimed to be out around $100 alone.

If you have any questions on the legal side, be it evidence gathering or police powers, feel free to send me a PM. What I have suggested is probably your best option. I would be happy to help further if I can. I can also email my professors (most of which are former police offices, all of who had some role in the legal system) for any advice.

Thats a great idea.Lets get a list together of what we all lost and a value of the item(s).
For me I traded this clown a ltd. Tamiya Tiger 1 late (it was a special kit edition with special decals and a crew, but I dont really know a value for it) for Dragons Stug III G early and one of the cyber hobby upgrade.I guess it was about fair trade Just one thing remains I just want my stug or my tiger returned.
But in the end he is so damn smart because everybody has his address now.......

Hi

Kevin that is great advice I was thinking the same thing( but with less of the detail you described).

I don't post here much but I think someone who has been burnt by this guy should do exaclty that and also ask the other major websites to do the same and email the facts/documents to this one person,
Maybe to start there could be a thread/topic header here asking who has been burnt by this guy or a deal with him has gone wrong and the approx amount they have lost on the deal.

The other suggestion is that the media small type/ current affairs shows may be interested once details and amount of losses ocurred that have amounted. Often once the media do something the police often feel the need to follow it up.

Strength Through numbers!

Thanks

Great additions and suggestions Paul.

Things I didn't think to mention the first time: Anyone still possessing receipts for the kits, or post office receipts/records, include photocopies in your evidence to help support the value lost.

If you don't have receipts, a statement from your LHS of the typical price for that item, or if ordered online, a copy of or link to the webpage listing the price should be provided, and any documents/records related to the purchase that you may still have would be useful.

I think thsi is a great idea. I was lucky, it was only 1 kit, but a darn rare one to find now. I have the postal recipt for the shipping with the customs number and also online tracking shows the delivery date, also his replies stating that he is in the wrong....everyone save your mail!
