About Ralph Larsson (Bravo36)
FROM: ARIZONA, UNITED STATES

Modeling for 40 years. Started young and never really stopped. These days I split my time between 1/35 armor, dioramas and larger scale figures (90mm & up). Computer nerd now, but I resigned my Regular Army commission as a Captain in '77, Airborne & Mech Infantry (M113A1s) - I was young and stupid...

Ciao Ralph and Merlin, Man, the lighting is really dramatic on the main photo!! I would suggest that you might try to blend in the wash around the pockets and folds of the uniform. The face is really interesting and realistic. The hands could have been shaded a bit more. Man, it sure is an impressive figure!! Great work! Ciao for now Rob

Ralph: Welcome (back?) to the site, what a nice figure to make your (re)entrance with! The grain effect on the M-1 is really nice. I have seen this figure ranging up to about $70 retail, is it worth it? We're glad to have you on board and hope to see you contribute to the figure forum. Feel free to post any more works you might like to share!

Thanks for the good words... This is the first of 'Soldiers' figures I've done. I thought it was worth it. I've done most of the (old) Sieries 77 and Post Mil 90mm figures over the years. This one was certainly comparable. You'll also find soem of my stuff in Dioramas, and on the IPMS Phoenix site. Ralph (Bravo36)
