Life is a Gas

Both Trumpeters T62 BDD and BMP 1 kits were used for this diorama set in the late stages of the Russian war in Afghanistan. Here we have Russian forces entering a backwater village after a chemical strike to clear any potential resistance. A couple of vultures take advantage of the only hapless victim so far. Having spent a great deal of time on the vehicles and figure, Mark decided to try and keep the base fairly simple. Time is the enemy of any modeller, and with a number of kits sitting in the stash just waiting to be built, Mark had to finish this. Too many more still to be done. Mark used Ant miniatures excellent Stalker 1 resin figure and Mantis miniatures carrion set to complete the picture.

It looks good. Actually they both do. It looks like there are pics of two dios there. One of the chem attack and two vehicles, the other of a T-72 with Iraqi POWs, US troops, and a camera crew.

Looks like two separate dioramas i submitted have been mixed together in one feature. Pity about the error, but there you have it.
