This diorama features an Ansaldo Carro Leggero L6/40 Italian Light Tank of the 2nd Battalion - 31st Reggimento di Fanteria Carrista (Infantry Tank Regiment, with his “Leoncino” - lion puppy - emblem), in the Balkans during the early September 1943 ambiguous phases of relations existed between Germany and Italy, prior to Italian desertion of the “Axis Army”. The excellent resin model of the tank is Model Victoria, with some scratch-built; the figures are Warrior, Alpine Miniatures, Corpus, Model Victoria and Romeo Models (with some modifications and Hornet heads), accessories Royal Model, Model Victoria and Historex. The tarpaulins are made from Milliput, base in chalk, with little river pebbles, and houses portion in resin from ROMEO MODELS. Federico, well done! The L6/40 is splendid. Wonderful scenery. For my money, there are not enough WWII Italian subjects.

I have to mirror Frederick's comments... There are not nearly enough Italian subjects done, and it's even better to see one that's also not from North Africa. Very nice work, too. Thanks for sharing!
