This diorama is based on wartime photos of screened KV-1 of 3rd tank division, 1st mechanized corpus. This tank was lost in a counterattack on the town Ostrov (near Pskov) 5 July 1941. The KV-1 was scratch built from different part of various kits (hull - Tamiya, turret - Zvezda and etc.). I used photo etched sets from Aber, but many parts were built from scratch. The Horch kit is the Italeri offering with some resin parts. The Figure is an offering from BODY.
