Meng Abrams M1A2 Sep Tusk II

  • move
The base kit Paul used was the Meng Abrams M1A2 Tusk I / Tusk II Sep variant, kit number TS 026. In addition the base kit he added a scratch built interior to the drivers tub and the turret, and then added some LED lighting to show it off. The mine plough is a resin add on. Painting and weathering consisted of a base desert yellow lightened with white, then further highlighted with a lighter colour to bring out the details. Weathering commenced with a filter wash, followed by some light chipping and pin washes. The various accessories and storage are a mixture of add ons from various manufacturers with a scratch built parasol.

Very Nice. I have it in my stash and it will be my Tusk II variant. Too bad there is not a build article on it. I would be very interested in seeing this project piece by piece.
