British and American Tanks of WWII

by: Jim Lewis [ GUNTRUCK ]

A part of the Arms & Armour series, this reference is a complete, illustrated, history of British, American, and Commonwealth tanks from 1933 to 1945. There are many photos of vehicles in each entry, as well as major variants developed on these chassis. There are appendices covering guns, suspension designs, engines, and a comparative drawing set with contemporary vehicles for scale reference. Excellent for both the armor modeler and history buff - and retail price is a bargain for all the information provided.
