HobbyBoss Have released a 1/35 scale Swedish CV90-30 MK I Infantry fighting vehicle.
With the rather obscure name, the CV90-30 MK I IFV from HobbyBoss is certainly a rather rare subject for a model kit.
The vehicle itself is part of the Stridsfordon 90 series of Swedish military vehicles designed specifically to operate in Arctic conditions. The platform has a number of different variants including command and control and anti-air vehicles and has the capacity to carry 6 to 8 soldiers.
The kit comes complete with P.E fret, Slide moulded turret, upper hull & lower hull detail and 180 individual track links, hopefully enough to keep even the most discerning modeller happy.

Item Code:
83822 - CV90-30 MK I IFV

I really do my best to try and get these news item as factually correct as possible, if there are mistakes I apologize. Short of spending all day researching each individual subject individualy. I would much rather concentrate on the quality of the kit and actually getting around to doing some model making...

I believe Finland uses this variant as well. Waiting for the CV90-35 that is announced for later this year. The CV90-40A and C already out are very nice looking kits by the way.

I wonder if these kit could be used for building a Swiss Schützenpanzer 2000. Are he differences between the Mk.1, Mk.2 and Mk.3 that big. Anyway, I get me one.

Be careful. It's a fine line between news and mere informercials. Cheers, Christophe

There are differences between the different versions of the CV90-family, including the different main guns (CV9030/9035/9040), which then are further sub-divided into different generations/nation-specific variants. This is apparently the Norwegian version (also known as CV9030N), which differs sligthly (hatches, deck and turrets configurations, ...) from the later 9030's delivered to Finland and Switzerland (which also have minor differences, although both 9030FIN and 9030CH are described as CV90 MK II.

is there a release date in EU?!

Yup, that is a Norwegian CV 9030N. From the pictures it looks pretty nice as well. The markings are useless if you want to build a CV9030N from Afghanistan (or Norwegian Army for the last years). The markings are from a unit which is long gone. It will be fun to check out this kit against my reference material. And as a "Fun Fact": This vehicle will be history in just a few year since Norway is currently up-grading its CV90 fleet with Mk3 hulls, re-using the old turret (also upgraded) and the Mk1 hull will be re-built into several types of CS turretless vehicles with a RWS Nordic as main armament.

Norwegian just makes it even more appealing in my eyes.
