An announcement from Italeri has the M108 making a return to the world of plastic.
Italeri has announced the re-release of the M108 kit. This kit was originally released in 1983, with the 2014 release stating to have upgraded molds. The kit will include markings for 3 different vehicles and looks to include link and length track.

Well, that's great that it's available now... once again. I have the original release still in my stash, I think I'll have to build it now. I do like the 108 better than the Paladin... even if the gun is smaller. LOL Good news report! Jeff

Neato. I never knew of this SPG. That little 105 just doesn't look right after seeing the M 109.

It was used in Vietnam and also was part of the inventory of the Belgian Army

Typically when I've just tracked down the original on eBay! However, nice to see this again; I recall there's a superb article on how to get the best from this kit somewhere within the depths of Armorama as the kit does have a few issues - all of which are relatively easy to fix. A shame perhaps that the option for Belgian markings is no longer there but interesting perhaps that a Brazilian version is now available. Good to see this back - faults and all - including those oh so rigid tracks!

Reference my last: I now note that Italeri appear to have included link and length tracks so the rubber band type I referred to no longer applies.
