The new books from Adam Wilder, published by Meng AFV Modeller, are finally available.
Two volumes, one for building and one for painting and weathering with over 400 pages.

They thoroughly cover all aspects of armour modelling, in step by step photos and text.

The first one, about building, goes well beyond the basic skills and include topics such as advice on improving kits, replicating battle damage or working with resin and photoetch.

The second book goes extensively through all painting and weathering techniques, from base coat to filters, colour modulation, winter washes... There are also specific sections for painting tools, tracks, lights and other items.

An excellent guide that will be useful for beginners and experienced modellers.

Both are on their way to me. Can wait to see how they compare with the other recent modeling book releases... Mario

I chose the 2nd volume over the new Mig releases...will see. My fear with MiG is that they only feature their product line (which I use BTW), although that is an assumption only. However I know Wilder has it's own product line too. Plus this is one book only on painting. Can't wait to have it here!
