Mike Shackleton (author of the Leopard trilogy) has sent us an update on new products and other info available at his LeopardClub website. THis includes an up-coming new book!
From Mike's press release:

"New releases over the last few weeks are all small sets to add that little extra detail to your models.

LW020 Norwegian Leopard 1A5NO Decals
To be used with Legend LF1316 Leopard 1A5NO conversion of Meng TS-015 Leopard 1A5. The focus of this sheet of decals is the Leopard 1A5NO of the Norwegian Army from 1994.

LW023 and 024 German aerials
SEM25/35 was used on Leopard 1 and early use on Leopard 2, this aerial has wider applications in most of the Bundeswehr's and NATO's vehicles of that time. SEM80/90 (LW024) started to replace it from 1986.

Both sets of aerials have wider applications in most of the Bundeswehr's and NATO's vehicles up until today.

LW025 Tow eyes T-hooks for any Leopard 1 or 2.
These replace the one-piece tow eyes and hooks on the current crop of plastic kits. Alternative towing eyes are supplied for Leopard 1 and Leopard 2. T-hooks and pins actually 'work' and etch is supplied for the chains and H-shaped cable keepers found at the rear.

Extra chains are included for other uses such as the main tow hook, retainers for tow cable pins, barrel travel lock, rear tool box latches (Leo 1), etc. As a bonus, two MG travel locks are also included - always missing from kits.

LW026, LW027A, LW027B A variety of smoke launchers for Leopard 1 and 2
They can be used with any modern German vehicle. They remove the tedium of cleaning up those fiddly plastic items with their mould seams. The chains are much finer than the ones you find on most general vehicle etch sets. Also, some kit launchers are a little on the skinny side, particularly Meng.

LW029 Leopard 1 Mud Flaps
Produced in co-operation with Tetra Model Works. Can be used with any Leopard 1. Our flaps are actually made of rubber. These are not vinyl or some other soft plastic. They have etch parts for the hull mounting, reflectors, hooks and a stiffener to hold the shape of the side flaps. They can be posed either up or down, just like the real thing

Trackpad Publishing are about to publish a new title.
Our second recent release in the Modellers Foto Focus series is an 80-page photo profile of the Canadian Leopard 2A4. Just in time for the Hobby Boss model due for release in December. This is collaboration from Dan Hay, Peter van Iren, Anthony Sewards and Matthew Worth. It generally concentrates on the 2A4M CAN in Canadian service, though there are chapters on Afghanistan service and the basic 2A4M it is based on. Over 250 photos.

See the Trackpad website (http://www.trackpadpublishing.com/#!canadian-leopard-2a4m/cpo0) for details.

Reviews
Recently reviewed is another Leopard conversion in collaboration with Legend - a Leopard 1A5NO conversion also available from the shop. Also reviewed is Tankograd’s latest ‘In Detail’ book on the Leopard 2A4.

New Spotlights and In the Field pages cover various Danish Leopard 1s and 2s including the interesting Wisent 1 in both ARV and AEV roles plus a restored United Nations 1A5DK.

Reader's Models are also growing with new additions from Christos Themlis, with a Gold-medal winning Leopard 1A5 in Greek colours.

All of the above are summarised on the What's New page where you will find easy links to everything.

Don't forget to drop into The Leopard Club Shop for very good prices on very good items!"

Do they take orders from usa?
NOV 05, 2015 - 05:25 PM
Looks like it - they offer "European" and "Overseas" shipping. But I don't know exactly where they are based, and orders would have to be in Euros via their online shopping cart. Best to contact them about it.

Believe me I take orders from anywhere - including the States - so don't feel left out:-) I'm UK-based. LINK (don't be fooled by the web address)
