What were the major differences between the Cheetah and the Gepard? Obviously the radar is different but were there other major differences? I built the Tamiya Gepard years ago and the Cheetah, especially that digital camo one, would be a nice build.

The digital one is obviously a photoshop. Source: I have eyes.

This is great news! Regarding the Cheetah, it would indeed be very nice to have both options in the box... along with a few different painting options. What was that wheels issue on the Meng Leopard 1? Did the Takom Leopard had any major issues? This might be THE criteria to choose one over the other as the price of their Leos are very similar so I guess that'll stay true here, as well.

But that camo is legit, right? Makes for an interesting option if it is. Kylie

The main problems I know of are the oversized road wheel rims and fictionious dish profile on the idler, no idea if the Takom Leopard has an serious problems though.

Along with that funky leopard spots one posted posted already. I'm tempted by this, or a retro monotone green vehicle. Looks like a kit to have either way. Best regards Kylie

Painting a digital camo scheme would be a challenge. Lots of tiny masking of patterns. Would like to try it just to see how hard it would be.
