MK35 Editions informed us on their latest 1/35 scale figure releases, continuing the line of French railway workers.
F259 - French railwayman Jean

F260 - French railwayman Marcel

The figures are sculpted in 1/35 scale and cast in resin. Both figure kits include two optional heads.

Do not get me wrong, the figures look great and would make a useful addition to any "workers" diorama well into the 1970s at least before everybody started wearing security vests and hardheads. Even more so with Preisers "Railroad Workers" being hard/impossible to find these days (And not on the same quality level of theses kits(1) ). But: What makes them "French" or "railroad"? It is a bit like Miniart calling a house "Hungarian" and you look out of the window hundrets of kilometers from Hungaria (Or the Lechfeld) and see exactly that type of house. (1) Preisers figures would make a useful and cheap "background" work crew with some MK35 figures in the foreground to catch the beholders eye.

What is this guy, comic relief? The alternate head on Jean, the one leaning against the wall, makes him look like British comedian John Cleese! The other guy looks like he's digging abit too deep into his pockets for me...
