After a couple of truck releases, Balaton Modell now comes up with its East German excavator kit.

Introduced in 1965, the T-174 was widely used in agriculture, construction, and other industrial branches of the German Democratic Republic (GDR). The T-174 featured an all-wheel drive and differential lock as well as a self-locking hydraulic suspension. It may be optionally equipped for mechanical hoist operation, hydraulic gripper or hydraulic excavator operation.

Balaton Modell’s Weimar T-174 (BM3561) is offered as a 1/35 resin kit and includes photo-etched parts.
