PanzerShop makes available a conversion set to build this Soviet mobile radar system on a tracked chassis.
Also known by its NATO code name “Long Track”, the P-40 was a 3-D UHF radar used by the former Soviet Union. Its development started in 1960, and by 1963 it was accepted into the anti-aircraft branch of the Soviet armed forces. It was given the GRAU designation 1S12 in 1965, and was deployed as the primary target acquisition radar of the 2K11 Krug (SA-4 Ganef) mobile anti-aircraft defense system. The P-40 was also used to provide track data for other battlefield SAM systems. The P40 Long Track radar is mounted on the chassis of a lengthened ATT-426U version of the AT-T heavy artillery tractor with a large shelter mounted at the rear of the vehicle.

PanzerShop’s P-40 Long Track (PS35271) is a 1/35 scale multi-media conversion set containing resin and photo-etched parts. This kit was designed to be used with the Trumpeter AT-T kit (09501).

Background information on the vehicle sourced from ArmyRecognition.com and Wikipedia.
