The latest from OKB Grigorov features a kit of this Cold War era Soviet self-propelled howitzer. A bonus part is included with the first 100 orders of this kit.
The 2A3 Kondensator 2P was a Soviet 406mm self-propelled howitzer. First seen in 1957 during a Red Square parade, it was thought that the weapon was a mere mockup, created for deterrent effect. It had a crew of 8 and had a rate of fire of 1 round per 5 minutes. There were 4 Kondensators built. It was in service in 1956 and was retired by mid-1960.

Soviet Self Propelled Howitzer 2A3 Kondensator 2P (Code: V72064). The kit contains 188 parts in resin, as well as 121 photo-etched parts.

As a limited offer, a metal barrel is included with the 100 orders of this kit.

Now here's something that should be offered in 1/35th rather than every silly paper panzer project ever drawn-out on a napkin in May of 1945! Not to mention those silly things that never even got that far! Reality, especially Col War-era reality, is far more interesting and plausible. I'd probably add one of these to my stash if it were made available. I'd definitely review it here too.

So W-Model has this (for the exact same amount of money); I wonder how much the Trumpeter kit will be... It might even be cheaper...

Trumpeter... if it happens, then maybe feeling slightly sorry for anyone that laid out for the Panzer Shop 1/35 resin kit, it must have been $150-200. There was one being built here on Armorama, but apparently not to a finish: 1/35 2A3 Kondensator In-Box Review

US $ 177:70 to be precise, free shipping due to buying some more stuff at the time. I bought it about 9 months before the announcement here at Armorama: LINK I have also bought a resin 2S7 Pion before Trumpeter announced theirs. I haven't bought the 2S4 Tyulpan yet, in the hope that Trumpeter will release one .... / Robin
