Check the new products from RP Toolz, a versatile Miter Cutter and three handles for models and figures.
The Miter Cutter allows to produce identical parts of plastic, styrene, wood and soft materials thanks to its blade and stops.

It features two side, angled, stops for cutting at any angle desired, plus a straight stop for limiting the size of the part.

It comes with a 0,3mm blade for general use and another one of 0,25mm for fine cuts.

The handles for models allow to hold a model while painting without touching it. They are available in two sizes, one for 1/48 kits and smaller and the other one for 1/35 up to 1/24.

These handles are magnetic, requiring to glue a couple of steel discs to the model that will stick to the magnets on the handle. 10 of these discs are provided with the handle. It includes also an acrylic base to rest.

The Figure handle uses a chuck from 0,4 to 3,2mm to hold a pin on the figure, and has also an acrylic base.

Finally, there is a new tool for making rings with diameters between 1mm and 6mm in 0,2mm steps.

The cutter is priced at 85€ on their online shop, but from the looks of it I guess it is worth it. I have to get myself one.

RP makes really nice tools, not cheap but the quality is never cheap, the only thing would be nice is some packages, as the handles are very beautiful and since it only changes the head why do not make a set with handle and the 3 heads at an attractive price?... same thing with their Punch and die sets... however the cutter looks "WoW" ...

Undoubtedly a marvelous tool -and it better be for 85 Euro! As to the magnetic model holder: I fabricated one of these years ago from a couple of rare-earth magnets and a thick piece of dowel for a handle. Total cost: a couple of bucks. I only use mine during painting but it is useful to own one.
