Monroe Perdu has released new zimmerit sets for the MENG 1/35 scale Panther A late and the TAKOM BergePanther A, Demag factory.
They have various patterns for all three factories for the MENG Panther and two sets for the TAKOM Bergepanther.

These sets are laser etched paper and apply to your model easily with no special tools or paint primers needed. They can be easily customized to show battle damage or to match a particular photo.

I haven't tried it in 1/35 scale yet, but their 1/48 scale zimmerite is fantastic. It is also very easy to install. Put down an acyrlic primer coat and then use white glue. I thin it down a little.

Well these look good! What a great choice in Zimmerit patterns too. Going to have to look further into getting something like this -provided it doesn't cost the larger part of the kit's price! At that point thrifty me will just roll-up his sleeves and spend a less-than-calm evening cussing out crooked lines...

The vendor's website lists the Meng Panther sets at $20 each, and the Takom Bergepanther set at $15.

Just wondering if anyone out there has any experience with these? They look good from the images but as Zimmerit was a rough-textured form of cement applied to the tanks and was very much a three-dimensional addition, how does these paper laser print-outs compare to the real thing or am I cursed to continue with putty and toothed scrapers?

Is it just me, or does those prices seem a little steep for laser cut and textured paper? And those are US dollars! (25% more in CDN).
